Q

Resources do you have on EFB to help determine Landing legalities, promote communication with the dispatcher, and aid in the decision to land on a particular contaminated runway and where can you find the resource?

14
Q

What are the lowest landing minimums on this approach?

A

We can’t do LPV (only in certain planes)
We can do LNAV/VNAV but they may be higher than just LNAV
Make sure to check all minimums for all approaches.

Q

Figuring VAP

A

The following method is used for wind additive corrections to VREF
• VAP = VREF + ½ steady state headwind + Gust Increment
Add to a MAX of 20
Without STALL ICE SPEEDS add a minimum of 5 but if more than 5 add the VREF + 1/2 the steady state + all Gust increment
With STALL ICE SPEEDS no plus 5. So it could be the same as VREF.

Q

Water DUMP

Last flight of day, when will water stop dumping?

A
  1. Empty
  2. Push button twice (zebra if pushed once)
  3. Extended landing gear
  4. Annunciator Fault (aft Flt Att panel)
17
Q

SPDe

When?

A

FLCH
OVSP

It is either TOGA or idle thrust unless there is less than 4,000 ft. So it won’t be so aggressive.

18
Q

SPDt

What modes?

A

All modes except FLC and OVSP
