What is a tollgate review?
A: A meeting reviewing and formally closing one phase of the project and looking ahead to the next phase. This is a critical opportunity to update stakeholders on the status of the project. It is a platform to highlight successes and shine a light on roadblocks. It is a forum for all team members to ask questions and get clarity on what you’re doing and why.
What are the report out expectations?
A: Tollgate report out presentation for each phase of the project. The report out should be short and focused, about 10 minutes. Show progress on the major components of the phase. Describe what’s been done and how it happened. Describe how it helps move towards the project goals and describe the next steps.
What are the key Define Phase Tools?
A: Documentation of project selection, SIPOC, Completed project charter (problem statement, objective, business case, key metrics, scope, and team members), Project structure (DMAIC or PDCA)
