nerve can regrow 1-3mm/day inside sheaths
months to recover

nerve compressed
disrupts axon, but not broken
nerve palsy (blood flow, infections, birth, bells palsy, stroke), inflammation
recovery - a few days/months depending on cause

spasm, pins and needles, ‘gone to sleep’
recovery - a few minutes

deltoid, teres mnir and maybe triceps longehead affected
