What is computer hardware?
Computer hardware refers to the physical parts of a computer and related devices.
What is another name for internal hardware?
Components.
What is another name for external hardware?
Peripherals.
What is a peripheral?
A computer peripheral is any external device that provides input and output for the computer. Peripheral devices are also referred to as I/O devices because they provide input and output for the computer.
What is a network?
A network consists of multiple devices that communicate with each other via a transmission medium. It can be as small as two devices or as large as billions of devices.
What does a network consist of?
While a traditional network consists of desktop computers, modern networks may include laptops, tablets, smartphones, televisions, gaming consoles, smart appliances and other electronic devices.
What are the two main types of network?
1) LAN (local area network)
2) WAN (wide area network)
What is software?
Software is a general term for describing computer programs or sets of instructions. It consists of lines of code written by computer programmers that have been compiled into computer programs.
How is software stored?
As binary.
What is HR?
HR (human resources) is used to describe both the people who work for a company or an organisation and the department for managing resources related to employees. They are often referred to as the end users of the system.
