Standard Organization and Regulations Manual (SORM)
Outlines standard Navy organization
Each ship tailors the SORM to satisfy specific needs
Department Head (DH)
Assigned by the CO, and represents the CO in all matters pertaining to that department.
I.e. oversee department administration and record review, for the organization and operation of the department
Division Officer (DIVO)
Assigned by the CO to lead a division
Supervise the performance of the work within the division carrying out the shipboard maintenance and material management
Leading (Chief) Petty Officer
LCPO/LPO is designated by the DIVO, and assists the DIVO in administering, supervising, and training division personnel
Assigns division personnel to daily tasks and oversees the accomplishment of division priorities
Work Center Supervisor (WCS)
Responsible to the DH, via the DIVO, for 3M system operation within the work center
