Specific function/mission
Range of items or materials to support a system or capability, and it’s supply information.
Items required onboard for operation
Include repair parts required for maintenance

Used to improve availability of parts and improve fleet readiness
Maintenance Assist Module (MAM)
Are replaceable assemblies required to execute an approved maintenance plan, identifying faults by swapping known-good assemblies for potentially bad ones.
Used to troubleshoot a system to figure out the problem.
Material Obligation Validation (MOV)
Used to verify unfilled quantities of parts requests in order to improve supply chain requests, and ensure sound financial management practices.
