-Levothyroxine (T4) or T3
-Hydrocortisone 100 mg IV
-Dextrose-containing fluids
-Passive rewarming
*Start treatment if the diagnosis of decompensated hypothyroidism is suspected; do not wait for laboratory confirmation.
Anaphalaxsis pediatric dose
Epinephrine (1:1,000) 0.01 mg/kg IM
Diphenhydramine 1-2 mg/kg, max dose 50 mg
Famotidine 0.25 mg/kg, max dose 20 mg
Methylprednisolone 1-2 mg/kg
albuterol 2.5-5 mg
Anaphalaxsis therapy- adult
EPI 0.3 mg 1:1000 intramuscularly (IM)
Diphenhydramine 25-50 mg IV
Famotidine 20 mg IV
Methylprednisolone 60-125 mg IV
albuterol 2.5-5 mg

Breathing
Circulation
Disability
Exposure
FAST
Primary survey- Airway
-Maintain c/spine
-suction/ reposition airway
-Intubate if needed with surgical tray back up
Primary survey- Breathing
-Inspect chest wall/ auscultate
- Needle decompression
- Chest tube for unstable pt w/ ptx/ hemo
- Thoracotomy

- 2 IVs
- BP, HR
- Look for source
- Direct pressure/ tourniquet

- Pupil size
- GCS
- Deficits
Primary Survey- Exposure
- Undress
- Keep warm
