Operations Security: A process that identifies critical information to determine if friendly actions can be observed by adversary intelligence systems

What are the responsibilities of the command OPSEC Officer?
OPSEC Officers advise commanders on all OPSEC related matters and manage organization’s OPSEC program

OPSEC planning provides assessments on the possible negative effects of media coverage and all other public release information
Define WRA
WRA: Web Risk Assessment
- Risk assessment conducted to identify and report OPSEC vulnerabilities
Define EEFI
EEFI: Essential Element of Friendly Information
if acquired by an adversary, would degrade the security of military operations
Define Critical Information
Needed by adversaries to plan and act effectively against friendly mission accomplishments
What are the components and functions of the command OPSEC Program?
Responsible for ensuring the command and family members maintain an acute OPSEC awareness.
Consists of CO, XO, DH, OPSEC Officer, Dept. & Div. OPSEC Reps
