Speak about Scottish Chaucerians.
Formed a hundred years later after Chaucer’s death in 1400. They were different in style, tone, topics than the contemporary ones.
Speak about King James I.
Got inspired by English writing in prison.
His works: “Kingis Quair” (The King’s Book), owes a lot to Chaucer. Its verse form gets popular and called “rhyme-royal”, even though it existed before and was used by Chaucer.

Henryson. He shows sympathy towards animals.
What’s special about Henryson’s works?
As in Chaucer, he leaves the reader to judge.
