palpate 9 regions softly the by pushing harder. and feel for any thoracic aneurysm
fourth step of abdominal exam
palpate and percuss for liver. start at right iliac fossa.
upper border should be at 7th intercostal space
fifth step of abdominal exam
palpate and percuss for spleen. start at left iliac fossa.
