A
  • occurs with a high rate of cell turnover, causes renal injury (clogs the kidney) and electrolyte disturbance
  • (K, CA, PO4, purine break down )
  • LDH (intracellular enzyme) is a marker of cell turnover
  • Treatment
    • Allopurinol
    • Urate oxidase
