Validation Extension - Often configured with rule ﴾CER﴿ records to display a soft or hard stop certain conditions.
Prompting Extension - Triggers prompts for the user to validate information or complete a task before the event can be filed.
Filing Extension - Perform additional actions after the event is filed

Queue up medications, reminders, LDAs, and quick events for efficient Intraprocedure documentation.
What THREE WAYS MACROS CAN BE SHARED WITH USERS?
- Share a Macro with Individuals
- Share a Macro with a Group of Users
- Automatically Apply a Macro - You can use rules to determine when a macro should automatically be applied.
What happens when departments are listed in the RESTRICT TO DEPARTMENTS FIELD?
Only users who log in to the listed departments will find the macro on the Public tab of the Macro Activity.
Where are automatic application of macros in a profile record typically configured?
System Definitions.
What do you need to do to APPLY A MACRO?
Add a rule and associate a macro. Rules ﴾CER﴿ can be configured to match on patient information as well as system information. You can use existing Foundation System rules or configure your own using rule editor.
