• From exposure to Zika in utero
• Higher risk if exposed in early gestation
• Risk of microcephaly, cerebral calcifications, ventriculomegaly, FGR, oligo, talipes

Prevention

• Minimize risk of mosquito bites
• Insect repellent
• Netting when sleeping

If preg and exposed

• Inform obs team
• Monitor for symptoms
• Test if symptomatic
• If tests +, fetal med scan

If considering pregnancy

• Avoid zika areas
• If both partners travelled- Barrier cont for 3 months
• If male travelled- Barrier cont for 3 months
• If female travelled- Barrier cont for 2 months
