Not routine
If prev GBS in preg- Test at 35-37 weeks, or 3-5 weeks before delivery ie 32-34 weeks in twins

Urine- Rx after test and IAP
Vaginal- only IAP

- Prev baby w GBS
- GBD in prev preg
- Preterm
- Unknown carrier status

- Benzylpenicilin
- Mild pen allergy- Cefuroxime
- Sever pen allergy- Vancomycin

A
IAP for >4h- no special obs
IAP <4h or none- Monitor for 12h
