In Dec 1936, Hitler youth became compulsory for people 10 and over

A
  • had to swear an oath of loyalty and had a performance book where marks were gained
  • boys did outdoor sports such as hiking, when 13, they did Military practice, at 15, they prepared to be soldiers

  • Christians feasted communism, was anti religious
  • Hitler worked with Pope but started to hate him as people saw the pope as above him, he closed catholic youth clubs
