A

A small, non-violeng resistance group consisting of students from the university of Munich. They spoke against nazism and printed pamphlets

A

Sophie and her brother Hans took a suitcase full of leaflets to their university. They dropped copied in the empty hallways for students to pick up when they arrived for lectures.

The smell from broken roolets became unbearable. Te freezing cold polish winter caused the water pipes to freeze. There was not enough food. Diseases soon broke out in the overcrowded ghetto

They smuggled in weapons and dug escape tunnels linked to the sewer pipes

A

In April 1934, the nazis attacked the ghetto and were met with gunfire and were forced to withdraw. They returned and set fire to the ghetto and threw poison gas into the sewers. The survivors were sent to death camps
