Work-Simplification :
1. Help you save time and energy
2. Enhance your efficiency and effectiveness

Work simplification Strategies
- Sequencing
- Independence sequencing and dependent Sequencing
- Coordinating and Clustering
- Multitasking
- Sequencing
sequencing” refers to arranging tasks or processes in a specific order to improve efficiency, reduce time, and streamline workflow
**Independent Sequencing involves completing unrelated task in an order that that makes for more efficiency. Example if you decided to do your homework then wash the dishes.
*** dependent sequencing” refers to arranging tasks or processes in a specific order where each task depends on the completion of the previous one. This means that certain tasks cannot begin until the preceding tasks have been completed. Example you must first trim and wash the chicken, followed by seasoning and marinating it.
.
- Coordinating
Coordinating involves grouping task that are logically related and can be completed together . It includes clustering and multitasking.
Clustering involves grouping task that are apart of or related to one area of work before moving on to another. For example if your task is gardening you could cluster task by mowing the lawn, trimming the hedges and cleaning up before you move to another unrelated task.
Multitasking
Multitasking involves doing different task simultaneously , this is a desirable way of organizing activities and getting a lot more done in a shorter time.
Overlapping and dovetailing are important process of multitasking.
**Overlapping involves a combination of activities that can be done at the same.
*** Dovetailing involves working on three or more tasks at the same time until they are completed.
Scheduling
Scheduling involves having a written plan of activities and the time needed to complete them.
Some of the tools used to create schedules are :
- Diaries
- Timetables
- Time plan
- Calendars
