What is a Conflict
A conflict occurs when 2 or more persons have an disagreement.
Types of Conflicts
- Interpersonal Conflict relates to conflict that occurs two people.
- Intrapersonal Conflict
Intrapersonal conflict refers to internal struggles or conflicts that occur within an individual’s mind or psyche. This can include conflicts between different emotions, values, or desires, as well as conflicts between an individual’s thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions.
- Intragroup Conflict
Intragroup conflict refers to conflicts that arise within a group or organization among its members. This type of conflict can occur due to various factors such as differences in personality, values, goals, or roles within the group. .
What is conflict resolution
Conflict resolution is the satisfactory settlement of a Conflict.
Conflict Management Approaches
- Collaboration : In applying this approach, you work with the other party involved in the conflict to arrive to agreed solution.
- Compromise
In this approach you and the other party involved are able to give up something in order to reach a solution.

In this approach, force intimidation to achieve your own objects in the conflict ( I win - you lose).
- Accommodation
Using this approach you surrender and allow the party to have their own way (I lose - you win)

In this approach one or both parties ignore the cause of the conflict (do nothing about it).
