Values
A value is a principle or belief that an individual has about areas of his or her life. They are strong beliefs about what is right,wrong, good, bad desirable or undesirable.
Characteristics of values:
- Values are chosen freely : your belief is usually a matter of choice , for example if you believe in honestly you will apply this value in areas of life.
2.Values are prized : The choices your make are valuable to you.
- Values we acted upon: The choice you make guides your action. for example if u value good health ,you will take actions to exercise frequently and eat healthy.
Types of Values
- Moral value : These are belief la about what is good or bad,right or wrong. These beliefs are influenced by religious or spiritual teachings and by the Cultural norma and laws of a society .

These are values that are accepted by most people in a society as being right for everyone. Some of these are Respect, peace,trust,fairness and so on.
- Personal Values : Personal values are standards and principles that someone cherish, and what direct their interest.
What Is Attitude
Attitude are behaviors that express someone feelings and beliefs towards people, objects, issues, events, ideas and situations.They express likes or dislikes.
Components of attitude
- Cognitive - A person knowledge or belief about an issue
- Affective - The way someone feel about an issue.
- Behavioural- The way someone act or behave in relation to the issue.
What are goals
Goals are wants. Goals can be described as : Objectives, targets outcomes, visions , or missions , accomplishment or achievement.
Steps in setting goals
- Decide what u want you are want to achieve.
- Be realistic.This means setting goals that your chan achieve .
3.State each goal as a positive statement .
4.Be specific. This includes dates,times and resources
- Prioritize in cases where you have several goals.
6.Break goals down into smaller process goals so that they are achievable.

3.Intermediate goals : are medium-term objectives that fall between short-term and long-term goals, typically taking anywhere from a few months to a few years to achieve. These goals serve as stepping stones towards your long-term goals, helping you make steady progress and stay motivated along the way.
