Noise Pollution may be considered as part of the air
pollution since it is conveyed or transmitted via the air.

Noises above the normal range which is acceptable to
humans and animals may be considered as noise pollution.

Airplanes and airports, amplified music, traffic, emergency vehicles, garden equipment, machines, construction.

Dogs barking, farm animals, natural disasters (volcanic eruptions, hurricane winds), children crying etc

What is the acceptable decibel?
acceptable decibel level for humans is around 70 dBA.. sound levels less than 70 dB are not damaging to living
organisms,
Harmful decibel?
Any sound above 85dBA will negatively affect your health over time. Exposure for more than 8 hours to constant noise over 85 dB may be dangerous.
Effects of noise pollution?
Loss of hearing, sleep deprivation, fatigue,
poor concentration and irritability.
Preventions to hearing loss?
Wear earplugs, Maintain a level of 35db- 40db in your home, choose your home/job away from the city, reduce earphone use,
