Q

How can you lessen the waste you produce?

A

Shopping carefully, buy products in bulk
avoid over-packaged goods, especially ones packed with several materials such as foil, paper, plastic.
Avoid disposable goods (paper plates, cups, napkins etc.) Throwaways contribute to the problem, and cost more because they must be replaced again and again
Buy durable goods, ones that are well- built or that carry good warranties.

Q

How can we reduce products?

A

Save things like plastic, paper and plastic bags also to repair broken appliances, furniture and toys.🍽
Use products for different purposes like using a coffee pan to pack lunch (IDK how that works)
Sell stuff or donate them to charities.👚
Use resealable containers than plastic wrap.🍶
Use reusable cups like a ceramic coffee cup ☕
Don’t take bags from the store unless you need one, you can use your own cloth bags (but then how will I get actual bags and stuff when I need to give the neighbour mangoes or something like-)

Q

How do u know if something is made of recycled materials or can be recycled?

A

Look for the recycling symbol or ask store managers or salesmen.
For instance, many plastic containers have a recycling symbol with a numbered code that identifies what type of plastic resin it is made from but, just because the container has this code does not mean it
can be easily recycled locally.
