A
A language disorder which causes difficulty in understanding written and spoken language (ie. language comprehension) AND in producing written and spoken language that makes sense to others

- Cannot produce meaningful speech (“Holy Christmas!”)
* Cannot comprehend speech from others

- Speech is often fluent and grammatically correct
- Mild – severe anomia
- Difficulty both producing and understanding both written and spoken language that makes sense to others
- Unaware of their condition – however they can read body language
