Q

what are the other differences with paediatric ils

A

greater caution when using a nasal airway adjunct in paediatrics
using devices like opa and npa’s may cause bradycardia.
caused by excessive vagal tone/vagal nerve stimulation
vagus nerve runs from brain through various organs in the body including the airway- easily stimulated in children
