Five-Ravens Five Forms of Power 1959

These are five types of social powers, not mutually inclusive.
- Legitimate Power- Play a role, you are given a responsibility through a position.
- Reward Power: The capacity to bestow reward.
- Cohesive power: Used to obtain compliance
- Referent power: Charismatic power, interpersonal influence. Approval, when people want to follow you. Not what you give.
- Expert Power: You must depend on the exclusivity of their expertise.
- Informational power: Ability to control information required to make a decision or aquire something.
