- support cells for developing spermatozoa
- secretes fluid that facilitates passage of the maturing sperm along to intratesticular ducts
- produce critical hormones for progression of spermatogonia into spermatozoa
what cells does the seminiferous tubules contain?
sertoli cells and spermatozoa
what cells does the tubuli recti contain?
sertoli cells only
