that can bring a necessary change to a situation that the
firm has undertaken. -The steps in this part
First step is identifying the change agent. The change agent is the persons who will facilitiate the change in the organisation.They can be external like consultants or internals. For the internal one, there can be a questionnarie or interview to understand who is open to change and open minded. The second step is selecting the persons with emotional intelligence, great communication and empathy to understand the resistent persons and change their mind. The third step is mobilising the agents, empowering them with training on the areas they lack maybe on their listening skills, problem solving skills, and monitoring their progress to see what areas need improvement and give construcitve feedback to improve their performance even more.
What is a Change agent network? And how would it be used in the
organisation at a point where the case business underwent a change?
Change agent network is a network between associates and managers which is built on two way communication to have clear and honest communication on how the change is progressing and providing constructive feedback to ensure change is happening in all the levels.
If the change is happening slower than it is supposed to associates and leaders can have 2 way communication to understand the reason why, the change leaders can provide feedback and help change to be implemented more efficiently.

Tim cook was chosen by the board as a change agent by the board after Jobs recommended him as the ceo. Thus, because of being open to changes, having strong communication skills with integorating people and focusing on execution of goals into vision makes him a great change agent.
What roles do change agents take on? Provide an example using one of
the case organisations.
Training, consulting and research roles.
For consulting its purpose is to help employees to find solution through analysing valid data. Tim cook reads customer feedback which is a data from outside to understand how customer feels and make necessary changes in the products by providing this data.
Training help organisations members learn how to use data to implement change. Altough Cook does not implement training directly, he invests in data analytic tools to ensure the firm has the latest tools to ensure change can be adapted with latest tools.
For research, it is about training organisation members the skills they need to evaluate the effectiveness of action plans.
Tim cook does this by leading through interrogation, training organisation members to identify the weak spots in the effectiveness of the action plans implemented.

Change agent network is two way based communication between leaders and associates. The purpose of this is to gathering feedback from associates for improving the change implementation and identifying how the change can be done better,creating sense of community to increse collaboration and overcoming the resistance of associates.
