Glucagon
Pharmacology and Action
NRA
- Natural polypeptide hormone secreted by the pancreas.
- Released to breakdown stored glycogen to glucose and inhibit the synthesis of glycogen from glucose.
- Acts on receptor sites similar to those of epinephrine producing catecholamine like effects.
Glucagon
Indications
