Action: Adduction & IR humerus
Clavicular: flexes humerus
Sternal: extends humerus from flexed
position

costal cartilages
D: coracoid process

Action: draws scapula anteriorly and
inferiorly against thorax (scapula IR);
scapula anterior tilt, stabilise scapula
