What should an Assessment by an SLP include?
Identify the speech, language, swallowing symptoms
Evaluate the severity of the problems
Make an SLP diagnosis
Use hypothesis to set goals and select procedures
Use hypothesis to estimate prognosis for recovery of speech production (will they return to baseline)
