Q

What happens when waves arrive at an obstacle?

A

Their direction of travel can be changed.

Q

What is reflection?

A

Reflection of light is what allows us to see objects.
Light counces of them into our eyes.
When light travelling in the same direction reflects from an uneven surface such as a piece of paper, the light reflects off at different angles.
When light travelling in the same direction reflects from an even surface then its reflected at the same angle get a clear reflection.

Q

Points to include when drawing a ray diagram from an image in a plane mirror.

A

1 - the image is the same size as the object
2 - As far behind the mirror as the object is infront.
3- image is virtual and upright.
4- image is laterally inverted left and right sides swapped.
