Caution associated with external power
Do not start APU or apply external electrical power when temperatures of regulated converters are below -40 degree C
note associated with APU - RUN/ENGAGE
Below -18 degrees C disconnect external power prior to starting the APU
Caution associated with Avionics power select
SIRFIC radar warning system damage may occur if operated within 300 ft of powerful emitters such as air traffic control
Caution associated with ECS
[Block 20 ECS] if all cockpit outlets (with exception of the forward console mounted torso outlets) are not in full open position during ECS operations, failure of the ducting between the ECU and the cockpit may result.
Note associated with lamp test
If the LAMP TEST switch is pressed when WFPS is disabled, a WFPS caution will display. To clear the fault, enable WFPS and press LAMP TEST for at least 2 seconds
Note associated with EELS
When the cockpit EELS is placed to ARM or the cabin EELS is placed to on, all EELS lights (5) should illuminate. After testing ensure switch is returned to the OFF and the CKPT CNTRL positions, respectively
Note associated with Parking Break
The BRAKE ON light and PARK BRAKE ASI indicated the wheel brake pressure is >900 psi and wheel brakes are engaged. They do not directly indicate that the Parking Brake Handle if pulled up and locked.
WFPS Note
The WFPS switch will not report on the PRES SYST STAT page until engaged. Verify the WFPS DISABLE SW WRA changes from NONE to P after cycling WFPS switch
Rotor Brake Note
The Rotor Brake will not report on the PRES SYST STAT page until engaged. Cycle the Rotor Brake ON; verify the Rotor Brake Solenoid 1 and 2 changes from NONE to P, then Rotor Brake OFF
DIRCM Note
All crewmembers functionality for the DIRCM system is through the CMS . The DIRCM CIU is simply a receptical when the UDM card is installed
