After Engine start but still on the ground; are these heated?
AOA probe-
Pitot probe-
TAT Probe-
AOA- High
Pitot- Low
TAT- No
STAB TRIM
What happened?
Trim rate?
Other options?
When is it inhibited?
One of the two stab trim brakes failed to release when trimming with the stab trim switched
Trim rate is 1/2 normal
Can still get full rate with trim levers
Inhibited with autopilot engaged or Mach/speed trim system trimming
SPOILERS
One or more spoiler system faults
AUTO SPDBRK
What happened?
What could happen on ground? In flight?
What to do?
Fault in the auto speed brake system
If lever is down or armed speed brakes may not extend automatically on landing or RTO
If inflight and lever is ARMED, speed brakes could extend if additional fault occurs
Can still manually use the speed brake on roll out
MACH SPD TRIM
Fault in the Mach/speed trim system
UNSCHED STAB TRIM
Indicated stab trim movement without signal from trim switches, Mach/speed trim system or autopilot
Also indicates stab is moving in the opposite direction than it should
RUDDER RATIO
Fault in the rudder ratio system
ANTISKID light
What does it mean?
Is it ever inhibited?
Fault in the ACTIVE antiskid systemwhich May affect operation
Inhibited when parking break is set
LAV SMOKE
Indicates smoke detected in any lavatory
AIL LOCK
Ailerons either didn’t lock at high speed or didn’t UNlock at low speed
FIRE
Engine, APU, wheel well or cargo fire
CONFIG
On the Ground-
In Flight-
Ground-either throttle is near T/O thrust with the engine running and a configuration error exists
In Flight- Gear not down either:
1) Below 800’ AGL with throttle at idle - or- 2) with flaps in landing config
WINDSHEER *What to do if in Windsheer**
MAX THRUST, STOW SPEED BREAKS, PITCH TO 15°
do NOT reconfigure until clear of wind sheer
PULL UP
…and proper response to GPWS..
MAX POWER, STOW SPEED BREAKS, PITCH TO 20°
do NOT reconfigure until terrain separation is assured
Excessive terrain closure and not in landing config
Excessive sink rate
EGPWS predictive terrain warning
A/P DISC
any autopilot has disengaged
SPEED BRAKES
Speed brake lever is aft of the armed position and
- Airplane is below 800’ but above 15’
- or- - landing flaps are extended above 15’
CABIN ALT
Cabin altitude is above 10,000’
Extinguishes when it goes below 8,500’
OVSPD
Airplane has exceeded VMO/MMO
ALT ALERT
Aircraft has deviated 300’ from MCP altitude
On from 900’ to 300’ off of MCP altitude
AUTO PILOT
At least one engaged autopilot is operating in a degraded mode
A/T DISC
Auto throttle is disconnected
FMC
FMS is displaying a message on the CDUs
GND PROX
One or more of the GPWS warnings have been activated
GND PROX G/S INHB switch-
What does it do?
Inhibits or cancels the “below g/s” aural advisory and turns off the GND PROX light when pushed below 1000’ AGL
Will rest when climbing above 1000’ or descending below 50’
