When is warning lights inhibited?
The fire bell and the Master Warning lights are inhibited, for fire warnings only, during a portion of the takeoff. The inhibit begins at nose gear strut extension and ends at either 20 seconds elapsed time or the first penetration of 400 feet radio altitude, whichever occurs first.
When is caution lights inhibited?
The caution beeper and the Master Caution lights are inhibited during a portion of the takeoff. This inhibit begins at 80 knots and ends 20 seconds after nose gear strut extension or at 400 feet of radio altitude, whichever occurs first
Are eicas messages inhibited during takeoff?
No
When do you get the inhibited caution alerts back on a rejected takeoff?
As the jet decelerates to Below 75 kts
Will you get a caution beeper if you are on the ground and both fuel control switches are cutoff?
No its inhibited as it knows you just trying to shutdown the engine intentionally and thats normal ops
Till when are new caution and advisory messages inhibited during engine start?
During engine start, new caution and advisory messages are inhibited until the engine reaches idle RPM.
How long will it be before you get a gear disagree message?
25 seconds

How can you tell if there is a new status message if you have not selected the status page?
A status que appears on lower crt
Can maintenance displays be selected in the air?
No only on the ground with parking brake set.
What conditions give off takeoff warning?
- Leading edge slats not in takeoff position.
- Trailing edge flaps not in takeoff position.
- Slat/flap position disagrees with flap lever position.
- Stabilizer position outside of takeoff range.
- Speedbrake lever not in DOWN detent position.
- Parking brake set.
When do you get a landing config warning?
- Airplane at or below 800 feet radio altitude and either thrust lever set to idle thrust
- Landing flaps selected
How do u correct an overspeed warning?
All warning indications remain activated until the speed is reduced below Vmo/Mmo

Will u get stick pusher if you have flaps out?
No
Is stall warning active on the ground?
No .. You can only test it
What must you di to get the stick shaker and pusher in a test?
Test both stall systems together.. Press both switches at the same time.
Under normal ops if you get one shaker will you get it on the other side too?
Yes . Even Though they are independent systems, both cross talk so you get it on both sides.
Will you get any radio height call outs say if you ballon back up on landing?
No. All callouts will be reestablished once the airplane climbs through 1000 ft. Except the 2500ft radio altimeter call. The plane only does that on descent when it knows its in the descent mode.
How can you inhibit a glide slope alert?
The glide slope alert can be inhibited or cancelled whenever Mode 5 is armed by pushing the Glide Slope Inhibit Switch. The mode rearms when climbing above 1000 feet radio altitude or descending below 30 feet radio altitude.
How far below the glide slope will you get an advisory?
1.3 dots below.
The mode is armed when a valid signal is being received by the left glide slope receiver, the radio altitude is 1000 feet or less and the landing gear is down
When do wind shear warning becomes available on take off?
Only on rotation to 1500 ft
When are terrain cautions and warnings issued?
Terrain Caution Alerts - issued 40-60 seconds prior to potential terrain conflict.
Terrain Warning Alerts - issued 20-30 seconds prior to potential terrain conflict.
