Seigneurs: they didnt want to fight just got a say in the government
Fur traders: they didnt want to fight just got control of fur trade around great lakes
Habitant/farmer: they didnt want to fight they just regained language and religion under the Quebec Act
Who were the loyalists
They were people who were loyal to Britian and wanted to flee the 13 colonies during the U.S.A war of independence who were promised land in Canada.

What did britian do to make room for the loyalists?
Britian divided Nova Scotia into 2 parts

Why did Britain split canada into two parts?
Because the loyalists didnt want to live with the french so the west of the ottawa river is upper canada and east lf the river is lower Canada
Why did the americans and British not get along with each other?
The British kidnapped americans to work in the British navy
Britian was at war with the french so Americans couldnt trade with the french and the British limited their trading abilities since they have control over the trade
Americans wanted control of British colonies
The british supported the First Nations with their struggle of land
What were 3 potential threats after the U.S.A war of independence happened?
Some people just wanted the free land and weren’t loyalists so they would be giving more land than needed
The Atlantic colinies depended on the trdae with the Americans so they might join them if they start liking them
Lower Canada consisted of mostly French speaking Catholics so maybe the French would rebel on them and they wouldnt have a lot of land
Who did Tecumseh side with in the war of 1812 and why?
The British because Americans stole theur land, homes and killed Tecumseh’s family. He doesn’t have any love for the britihs but despises the Americans.
How many soldiers did Tecumseh lead?
1600 soldiers 600 of them warriors.
