45 minutes per session (in a 1 hr slot), once a week

3x in a row the patient will be dismissed
What communication is key?
nature and extend of disorder, nature of proposed treatment, financial aspects of course of therapy, appropriate level in writing to other professionals
Who should do VT programming?
you, the doctor
Who should do therapy sessions?
trained/certified therapists (COVT) or doctor; can often have two patients at the same time
Is home or in-office therapy best?
in-office; some docs give homework and some don’t like home activities
Are schedules and fees consistent?
no, vary by doctor/practice dependent
