- spatial presence: vividness (width, depth) & Interactivity (Speed, range, mapping)
- self Presence: physical body, virtual body, mental model of body
- social presence: co-presence (co-location, mutual awareness), psychological involvement, behavioral engagement
Spatial presence: “feeling of being there“
Social presence: “feeling of being together”
- sharing the virtual space with other social agent(s)
- social agents do not have to be visible (e.g., playing together using voice chat)
- social agents do not have to be human
