- Sudden vision loss
- Preceded by many floaters or flashes of light
- No red reflex I if too much blood

Hemorrhage in vitreous cavity
Causes
- Proliferative retinopathy: PDR, CRVO, BRVO
- Retinal detachment
- Posterior vitreous detachment

Investigation in vitreous hemorrhage
A
Look for underlying causes/systemic illness
- Visual potential: RAPD, projection of light
- Ultrasound: B scan (to look RD or Posterior vitreous detachment)

- Vitrectomy
