Visualizatipn Flashcards
Two types of video signals
Analog and Digital
What’s the difference between Analog Video vs Digital Video?
Analog:
- voltage varies continuously
- harder to capture
- random unwanted variation
- Noisier
Digital:
- bits and bytes
- easier to capture
- Less noise
What is a BNC cable? What common machine uses it?
Microscopes and C-arm
Most basic black and white analog image
What is s-video cable?
Used in non-hd cameras
Always use a backup signal
What is Sdi cable?
Most common used by competitors.
Carries 10 bits of data per pixel
Explain DVI cable
Carries 24 bits of data per pixel
Tropically uses the SDI Single Link for current Stryker generations
What does hdmi include that dvi doesn’t?
Sound and control information
Does Stryker use progressive or interlaced scan?
Progressive. No picture disruptions
What resolution is 1080p?
1920x1080 = 2 million pixels
What resolution is 4K?
2 x 1080p.
=4096x2160 4x Amount of pixels
What is aspect ratio? Give examples
Width to height of monitor
720p = 4:3 1080p = 16:9 4K = 17:9
Types of camera heads
Standard, online and pendulum
Inline: is primarily used in cevenus vein harvesting
Pendulum: non lap procedures. More urology cases. Swivel coupler can be locked at any angle. It can be moved out of operating area and still maintain orientation
How many functions can be programmed on camera head?
19
How many settings on ccu?
9
