2003 Vintage overall?
A
2003 was a vintage of extremes and INCONSISTENCIES. Extremely hot overall and over ripeness was an issue. In cooler climates like the loire valley, Austria, and Germany full ripeness was achieved but little desert wine was made. Champagne was destroyed from early frost and hot summer. Bordeaux and California produced Extremely concentrated fruit.
