Spanish wine maker from Penedes who specializes in 2 hectares of old vine Xarel-lo. Farms organically and biodynamically using indigenous fermentation, no new oak and no battonage.
Bio: Domaine Dujac
Jacquess Seysses is the founded domain in 1968 and now ran by his two sons. Known for whole cluster fermentation, although not used in every vintage.
Top cuvee is Clos de la Roche in MSD
Bio: Chateau Figeac
St- Emilion ancient chateau with evidence of existence in the 2nd century. Theirry Manocourt is known for putting this chateau in the spotlight. Known for higher proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bio: Nicolas Joly
Financier who took over family Parcels in 1977 in Savennieres. quickly transformed estate to biodynamic since 1981. Horse plow, Hand harvest, and last harvest pickings.
Top cuvee is Coulee de Serrant (Monopole). Monastic vineyard under vine for 900 years
Bio: George Laval
Cumieres: Proof of family raising vines since the mid 1600’s. Vincent Laval took over the wine making and has been organic since 1971. Small yields from 4.5 Hectares. Cuvee is usually all three grape and blend of only two vintages.
Bio: Drouhin Marquis de Laguiche
Marquis de Laguiche is the largest land owner in Montrachet (2.70 Hect) since 1363. Drouhin has farmed the land since 1947
