associated with tinnitus or hearing loss in labyrinthitis

viral aetiology

how is it managed?
A
supportive management - vestibular sedatives
generally self-limiting
if prolonged or atypical needs investigation
rehabilitation exercises may help if prolonged
Rule of 3s - 3 days in bed, 3 weeks off work, 3 months off balance
