A

Vasopressin analogue. selectively causes splanchnic and extrarenal vasoconstriction by stimulation of V1 receptors, which are predominantly located in the smooth muscles of the arterial vasculature in the splanchnic region and thereby reduces splanchnic blood flow and portal pressure
