Different form of the same gene
Dominant?
An allele that always produces a certain phenotype in an organism
Gene?
A sequence o DNA on a chromosome
Genotype?
Am individuals alleles for a certain characteristic
Heterozygous?
An individual who has inherited two different alleles of the same gene
Homozygous?
An individual who has inherited more than one allele for a gene from their parents
Phenotype?
The appearance resultant for a genotype of a characteristic
Recessive?
Phenotype marked by a dominant allele
