The ta**… **ny pattern in Sentence B Ta tey ny share lhiam marks the opinion in a specific time.

Likewise, if you translate “Player A is better than player B” as Share Cloieder A na Cloieder B you are implying that Player A is, and will always be, better than Player B. If you translate it as Ta cloieder A ny share na cloieder B you are implying that player B may have been better than player A in the past, or might be in the future.

Of course, sometimes, either pattern will fit with what you want to say.
