Q

The sediment determines how fast they are deposited. What are the three factors?

A
  1. Size - Larger Sediments will deposit faster
  2. Shape - Rounded sediments settle faster and flatter sediments will settle slower (surface area)
  3. Density - More dense sediments will settle faster
