Embolus
A traveling clot, fat, bacteria, or tissue debris that lodges in a vessel, occluding it.
Aphasia
Difficulty or inability to speak or understand .
Bradykinesia
A condition that causes slow movements and speech.
Sensorineural Hearing Loss
Loss is caused by a disorder of the hearing nerve. Apron 80% of hearing loss is due to this form of loss.
Conductive Hearing Loss
Is caused by a problem transmitting sound impulses through the auditory canal, the tympanic membrane, or the bones of the middle ear.
Hemoplegia
Paralysis on on side of the body.
Hemiparesis
Weakness on one side of the body.
Paresis
A condition of muscular weakness caused by nerve damage or disease
Flaccid
Of part of the body that are stiff or not firm.
Paralysis
Loss of voluntary movement (motor function).
Akinesia
Loo of ability to move your muscles voluntarily.
Hemorrhagic
Bleeding or the abnormal flow of bleed
Central Hearing Loss
Is caused by lesion in the central auditory pathway or the auditory cortex.
Functional Hearing Loss
Hearing impairment associated with aging and changed in the inner ear.
Diabetic Retinopathy
Diabetes complication that effects the eyes. Caused by damage to the blood vessels of the light sensitive tissue of the retina.
