Foot Drop
Inability to dorsiflex and evert foot because of perineal nerve damage
Gout
Is metabolic disorder in which excess uric acid accumulates in the blood.
Sprain
Partial or complete tearing of the ligaments that holds various bones together to form a joint.
Occurs during trauma when a joint is forced or twisted past it normal range of motion.
Fracture
Is a break or interruption in the continuity of a bone.
Contracture
A permanent shortening (as of muscle, tendon, or scar tissue) producing deformity or distortion.
Atrophy
Decrease in size or wasting away of a body part of tissue or muscle
Pathological Fracture
A bone that is broken, not by trauma alone, but so weakened by disease as to break with abnormal ease.
Hypertrophy
Enlargement or overgrowth of an organ or part of the body due to the increased size of the cells.
Strain
An injury to a tendon or muscle (stretch or tear) resulting from overuse or trauma.
