What is transactive memory?
When group memory os unevenly distributed so different members are chargers with knowing/remembering different things
(may raise issues within staff turnover)

if the group is valued & attractive people want to be members therefore they are likely to conform to the group’s view

protected from hearing other (outgroup) viewpoints

The leader controls the discussion & makes their wishes known

Perceived threat to the group will increase group behaviours & therefore thinking
