what does the cell membrane do
like the skin covering the body the cell membrane surrounds and protects the contents of the cell.

it helps control the movement of substances in and out of the cell.
what is the job of the cytoplasm
The cytoplasm constantly moves inside the cell like blood flowing throughout our bodies. it’s jelly-like. The cytoplasm helps support all the other parts inside the cell.
what is the job of the nucleus
the nucleus controls the cell activities. the cell nucleus is enclosed by the nuclear membrane which controls what enters and leaves the nucleus.
what is the job of the Vacuoles
it is balloon-like space within the cytoplasm are storage places for surplus food, wastes, and other substances that the cell cannot use right away.
what is the job of the cell wall
only occurs in the cell plants and fungi, and in some unicellular organisms. they provide support for the cell. and they are tough material called cellulose.
what is the job of the Chloroplast
Chloroplasts are the structures in which the process of photosynthesis takes place. it is only found in animal cells. This created a green pigment called chlorophyll which absorbs sunlight.
explain why cells do not grow very large
they do not grow very big because they need to carry out their work. cells need a constant supply of oxygen, water, and food particles, as well as get rid of waste. If they were bigger the cell will not work fast enough so that’s why they should be small.
