How do organisations regulate professions in HSC services
Implementing the organisation’s code of practice: having sufficient numbers of qualified staff; Provide training to and professional development to ensure staff can carry out their caring role.
Meeting National Occupational Standards (NOS): These are the standards of professional practice that should be met in the workplace.
Undertaking continuing professional development: In order to maintain high standards, they need to continually update their skills. Members of the GMC, NMC and HCPC must complete regular professional training to remain on their registers.
